X-Rays

Information about X-Rays

Dental X-Rays are used to not only diagnose dental decay but to also evaluate forming permanent teeth, help diagnose bony pathology, follow tooth and bony injuries, and help orthodontic treatment planning. X-Rays are needed to make complete oral health diagnoses and treatment plans. The frequency of X-Rays is determined based on your child’s individualized needs, and pediatric dentists are careful to minimize radiation exposure.

We take all of our X-Rays digitally. This has many benefits. The results are ready almost instantly. The amount of radiation exposure for each patient is significantly reduced and the process is far more environmentally friendly.
